👑 A KVP first: meet our very first Frau Perchta!
We're proud to introduce Renee as the newest addition to our cast of characters, and the first member ever to bring Frau Perchta to life for Krampus Verein Pinellas. Fittingly, she stands right alongside her husband Eugene, our beloved Körblträger (basket carrier)!
Frau Perchta acts as a fierce enforcer of household diligence, rewarding the hardworking and gruesomely punishing the lazy. She carries a long knife hidden beneath her skirts and a staff, traveling with a retinue of spirits and animalistic followers known as the Perchten. She leaves a small silver coin in the shoes of children and servants who finished their chores and spinning before the holiday, but for those who left their spinning unfinished or homes untidy, she cuts open their bellies, removes their internal organs, and replaces them with straw and stones.
Renee's mask and costume are still coming together, but we couldn't wait to share this first look.
