A longtime member of the German-American Society and KVP, Eugene and his wife Renee are among the driving forces behind crafting the club&#039;s custom costumes, work that brings every character in our troupe to life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is a K\u00f6rbltr\u00e4ger?<br \/>\nIn Alpine Krampus tradition, the K\u00f6rbltr\u00e4ger is the basket-bearer who follows behind the Krampus troupe, carrying the woven basket (or Kraxe) traditionally used to haul off misbehaving children, or in modern tradition, bundles of birch switches (Ruten) and other tools of the trade.
