Euchre Night
Every third Thursday of the month, we gather at the German-American Society for a night of Euchre — one of the great American card games, with deep roots in German immigrant communities. Whether you’re a seasoned pro who can call trump in your sleep or you’ve never held a bower in your life, you’re welcome at the table.
Our bar is open, and Welton Brewing Co. & Oyster Bar is right on-site for food. Grab a stein, find a seat, and get ready for a great time.

There is no money on the table at Euchre Night. No cash prize at the end of the night, no buy-in, no entry fee. We play for the love of the game, the camaraderie, and the community. If you’re looking for a genuinely fun night out with good people, pull up a chair.

How We Play
Standard Euchre with one house rule you need to know
Standard Euchre
We play classic four-player partnership Euchre — 24-card deck, trump, the right and left bower. If you know the game, you know the game.
Stick the Dealer
We play with the Stick the Dealer rule — if all four players pass on calling trump, the dealer is forced to call. No one gets off the hook.
Never Played?
No problem. Euchre is easy to learn and we’re happy to teach you. Show up, introduce yourself, and we’ll get you playing in minutes.
