Real Community
This is a place where people know your name, remember your order, and invite you to the next thing. Our members span generations, backgrounds, and nationalities — united by a love of German culture and a good stein. Some of our longest friendships started here.
Cultural Stewardship
When you join, you become part of something 75 years in the making. German-American heritage doesn’t preserve itself — it takes people who care enough to show up, volunteer, and pass it on. Your membership helps keep that tradition alive in Tampa Bay for another generation.
A Voice in the Club
Members vote. Members have input on the calendar, the events, and the direction of the club. If you’ve ever attended an event and thought “they should do more of this” — membership is how you make that happen. This club is shaped by the people who belong to it.
Member Perks
Discounted admission at most events. Access to member-exclusive events including our Kulturabend cultural evenings and Member Appreciation Days. Members with one or more years of membership receive 50% off hall rentals. Members and their immediate family are eligible for our annual $2,000 college scholarship. Enjoy a member discount on beer at Welton Brewing Co. & Oyster Bar, right on-site. And membership is your ticket into two of Tampa Bay’s most distinctive cultural clubs — the Krampus Verein and the Gulf Coast Enzianer Schuhplattler Verein. Members also have exclusive access to Crafting at the Club — our crafting circle.
We Run on Volunteers
The German-American Society is 100% volunteer-run. Every event, every evening, every stein — made possible by members who show up. We never pressure anyone, and we recognize not everyone can contribute time. But if you can, it’s one of the most rewarding parts of membership.

Annual membership, renewable each year
Individual
Full membership for one person — all benefits, voting rights, and member pricing included.
Family
Full membership for your entire household — everyone gets member pricing and access to all member events.
